I'm looking at the 4 Country Classic and also the Southern Trails. Southern Trails is predominantly camping and I was wondering the following:
I have AA rechargable batteries for my camera which I need to charge fairly regularly. Is there a place to do this while on safari?
A strange question but I can't be the first to want to know this and I have to ask - what do you do if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? I have a picture of lions roaring around me and running to a bathroom out in the woods while be swarmed by mosquitos. ;-) I hope this isn't what will happen?

Re: Camping safari questions
Are they NiMH batteries? (very highly rated batteries)
If they're not get some, they last about 3/4 times longer than standard AA rechargables.
Re: Camping safari questions
Hello Karen
You will be able to change your batteries at hotels and some, not all, of the campsites.
With regards to going to the toilet in the middle of the night, I would recommend you take a torch with you and remember the animals are more scared of you than you are of them. If the worst came to the worst you could be at one with nature and go straight outside the tent.
Have a good holiday.
