Hi,
In the brochures, it is stated that the camping sites are often basic. But just how basic is "basic"? I can comprehend that I can't expect the same standards as in Europe. But will there be e.g. showers and toilets, because the idea of not being able to shower for two weeks in such a hot country isn't very appealing.

Re: Camping treks in Egypt
Hello Marieke,
Sorry for the delay, we are preparing the new site to go online in Jan.
All sites we use for our camping tours have showers and toilets. the standard varies from town to town but all have the necessary amienities.
On the Felucca section there are no bathrooms at all. You can bath in the waters of the Nile and freshen up each day.
On our new Beyond The Pyramids we trel into the Sinai desert. In this portion there are no facilities in the desert. But each day we visit a well where theres a chance to wash.
Cheers
