Hi, I'm off to Qattara in September, and am considering not buying Travellers Cheques, but relying on the maximum allowance I can take out there + cash machines. I know I can top up at the airport when I arrive, but I was wondering if there is any advice on cash machine availability at the oases we'll be stopping at? (Come to that, are there banks to cash Travellers Cheques at anyway?)
Or do people just takes lots of cash?
