I would like to know what bright spark felt it necessary to change the language used in descriptions of your holidays. 'If you don't want to be a dick...' A poor joke about pandas, the list goes on and on. We are adults not 14 year olds. Please can you put back the relevant and interesting descriptions of places in the itineraries instead of this drivel. Such unprofessional language doesn't fill me with confidence for the organisation of the trips themselves.

Thanks for your feedback on some of the more colourful descriptions of our adventure tours. We are trying to communicate on a suitable level with our customers and it is important that we learn what is working and what isn’t. The descriptions are written by our local suppliers and we are currently putting this under review for the new sales season. I would like to reassure you that, whatever language is used on our website, this in no way reflects the standards of professionalism you will experience on tour with us.
Orangutanland - 'The locals call it ‘KK’ so don’t make a dick of yourself by calling Sabah’s capital ‘Kota Kinabalu’.
Feel the Burm - 'When we talk about getting off the beaten track, we’re talking about Burma: hill tribes who’ve never seen whities'. Whities? Really? You are actually condoning this in your descriptions of a tour? Are ALL your clients white? How insulting and racist. You are supposedly a travel company that encourages responsible travel. Not demonstrated by this kind of poor copy.
Feel the Burm - 'Tone up your bingo wings as we cruise along the Irrawaddy River (ie. you’ll spend a lot of time waving to locals).'
The Bit Beyond Ubud - 'Isn’t it nice that the sunset here coincides with happy hour at most places?' Not all your clients are 20 something binge drinkers!
These are just a few examples. Virtually every tour has something like this now. It is dreadful and not worthy of your company. It is dragging your image and respect down to the gutter. Please don't carry on with this style. I am booked on a trip with you and am beginning to regret it as a direct result of this issue.
