I am thinking of going to China (Beijing to Hong Kong) towards the end of Sept but the rain looks quite bad that time of year. Does anyone know how bad rain is when it says 257mm? Is that all day every day??

Re: China explored

Hi Simpson,

Autumn is probably the best time to visit Northern China (Beijing), temperatures are going to be very good: 20-30C. You won't see a great deal of rain, daytime will be warm while nightime will be chilly.

Autumn in the South (Hong Kong) is still fairly warm (20-25C) but you will get a lot of wet weather. There will be pleasant days but there will also be days that are real dogs. Just like England all year round(without the pleasant days obviously).
