Hi- I'm about to apply for a visa- I went to China for a day 25 years ago and simply got a stamp at the HK/China border- I seem to recall there was some paper work to fill in- but not really a visa. Do I need to declare this as having previously applied for a visa ? Obviously its on a really old passport - not my current one, but I'm more worried will be on a record and if I don't declare it I'll be in a mess , or if I do declare it and they have no record they may wonder what i'M DOING

thanks

Re: chinese visa

Hi AF

Thanks for your post.

The best thing for you to do with regards to your visa situation would be to contact your nearest Chinese Embassy. Sometimes regulations change, and they will be best equipped to let you have the most up to date information.

Have a great trip!
