I am travelling alone over Christmas, New Year and my Birthday this year, and was just wondering whether anyone else has travelled at Christmas with an ImTrav tour before?
According to our itinerary we have free days, but I was wondering whether anything is likely to be organised in terms of a meal with the group etc, or whether we are just left to suit ourselves?
Has anyone else experienced Christmas on this sort of tour (Adventurer Style)?

Christmas/New Year abroad
Hello Dani,
I travelled to Egypt, alone, back in Dec'03/Jan'04. The tour I did was a "Traveller", so a little bit more comfy! We had a lovely Christmas dinner in Hurghada & enjoyed listening to carols being sung in different languages in the foyer of our Hotel.
If you look up your tour itinerary, you will be able to see if your tour includes meals on your free days. If they don't I wouldn't worry too much, as your tour leader will be able to advise you on great places to eat! Plus you will pal up with other tour members & be able to wander about with them! Often the whole group will go out for a meal or there may be 2 or 3 smaller lots go to different places, or you may just decide to have a quiet night & have a meal brought up to your room!
Hope you enjoy your holiday! All the best......Debbie
