We will be taking this trip in early May. First time to Morocco and first time with Imtrav. We still have a few questions:
1. Is it necessary for a woman to wear a(long) skirt or are pants OK throughout the country?
2. In Islamic locations, do arms and legs have to be totally covered?
3. Are ATM machines readily available in the larger cities?
4. Any advice as to clothing on a camel trek?
5. Any tips as to photography of people, events, places; restrictions, etc.?
Thank you for the feedback.

Re: Deserts and Kasbahs
Hi Bob & Rita,
Although Morocco is a lot more relaxed with regards clothing than places like Iran and the Yemen, you should bring at least one set of clothes that covers your legs to mid-calf and your arms past the elbows. Your Tour Leader will always advise you on appropriate dress.
ATM machines are available in most large cities throughout the world but you should check with your card supplier to see if you can use your particular card in Morocco. As always we do not recommend that you rely on plastic as your main source of funds.
You are going to be in the saddle for quite a time so avoid clothes that are going to be tight, chafe or cut into you. You should also remember that you are going to be a bit sweaty (even though the camel is doing all the work) so avoid clothes that are heavy and won't let your skin breathe. Hats and sunglasses are also pretty essential.
There won't be a great deal that you won't want to photograph, just remember that if you take a picture of anything military or you could find yourself in a lot of trouble.
If you are taking photos of local people always make sure they're happy for you to do so, although most people are happy for their photo to be taken there are always people who do not and others who may attempt to charge you for the privilige. If you're in doubt always seek advice from your Tour Leader.
