My apologies for the delay in responding to your question.
The price listed online in AU$ is correct. I do not have a copy to hand of the Intrepid brochure but the price should be the same. Please contact Intrepid in Australia to question this. Our website lists all retail prices of our tours and all match our brochures world wide.

the web information gives High as 3425, but Low season as 3970 and then when my agent did contact Intrepid, they said the cost has changed to 4242!(not reflected in brochure or web.

Firstly I apologise for the trouble you have had on the price of the Japan tour. I have to admit that the price online was incorrect. I have checked with our list prices and with Intrepid Australia, and it all came back to me! AHH!!
I do apologise for the inconvenience to you and I hope that this has not caused you too much trouble and that you do go ahead and book the tour. The price online now corresponds with that in our worldwide brochure.
