Hello,

I was on this tour in June 2007 - we had the same tour director for both Egypt and Jordan, however, in Jordan we had an assigned Jordanian tour guide - he was great - Naim Abu Eid (a real mountain goat) had us hiking up hillsides - we got our exercise for sure!

You will thoroughly enjoy this trip and the Melodie is still my sister's favourite part of the trip -- the Nile cruise is not to be missed!

Think I missed the mark on your question -- this tour is a combination of two tours and if say the Egypt part was full but the Jordan part was not, there was a couple of other tours in Jordan that appeared to be running about the same time as our tour and I would assume that ImTrav could or would suggest you take the other Jordan tour.

I am glad that you are getting ready to book the Egypt & Jordan Caravan on 22 June. We currently have 5 people that have booked on to this tour plus 3 provisional bookings and so the tour is definitely guaranteed to run.

Catherine: What about the second half of my question...if the Egypt portion books up but the Jordan portion doesn't. Will the entire tour still run? Are the 5 booked and 3 provisional booked all the way through, or just the Nile Safari portion?

Thanks again for all your help, Catherine. I'm a repeat Imtrav customer and was wondering if I'm eligible for a discount (I've heard tell of 5% but can never get the rules straight). I've asked Adventure Center here in the States about 5 times to check into it for me and they have been less than helpful (this seems to be a theme with them).

Thanks so much for getting in touch.

We provide our customers with a Past Client Discount of 5% off of the main cost of the tour (minus the Local Payment) on any 2nd booking which they make with us. This can either be on tours which are back-to-back, or even years apart.

We also provide an additional 5% discount on the cost of the tour if you book 6 months before departure.

I hope that this helps answer your questions.

I am eligible then for 5% as I took TAWT last June with you guys (had a blast!!!).

I'm taking ETEG this July and asked my agent at Adventure Center here *several* times about the discount, before, during, and after I paid for the tour. She was less than helpful and never responded to my inquiry. I've already paid for my tour in its entirety....how do I get my 5% back??
