I'm intending on going to Egypt in late september early october 2000. Can anyone recomened whether I should go on a tour, and if so what would you recommend?

I understand this is a very broad question, but at the moment I am just after some basic information about where to start.

Cheers, Rachelle

Re: Egyptian holiday

Hello Rachelle,

Egypt in Sept/ Oct. is still fairly warm, so be prepared for that...... drink plenty of fluids.

There are a number of Imag. Trav. tours that may interest you, depending on time available & of course how much money you wish to spend. All I.T. tours are viewable on the net. I would recomend that you travel with a tour group, esp if you're travelling on your own. You will get to see much more with a group than you would on your own.

I did the Nile Safari tour in March '99 & loved it. On this tour you're able to visit the Great Pyramids at Giza, the museum etc in Cairo. Then travel to Luxor & cruise the Nile for 3 days ( just wonderful) aboard Amy. Whilst at Aswan you're able to fly to the beautiful Abu Simbel temple....this Temple will blow you away when you see it.

Of course if you're into shopping you can buy lovely jewellery, clothes etc.. It's just a great place to visit!!

I hope this helps, if you think I can be of assistance to you just let me know. Wish I were going too!!
