I'm planning to do the Felucca journey over Xmas. I'd like to have an idea of the temperature and realistically how much money I'm going to spend for whatever is not included in the price.
I'd love to go but because I'm a bit tight with the money, I'd like to know the overall cost.

The temperature in Egypt at Christmas time will be daytime 24c night 16c.
On the felucca sailing section you will find it much cooler on the Nile so bring a nice warm sleeping bag.
As to money, You can purchase lunch and dinner at various restaurants in the towns you visit at varying prices. I would suggest you budget $20 a day for a standard lunch and dinner. You will soon decide on taste and choice when you settle in and experience the range of foods available in Egypt. While you can obtain McDonalds and KFC all over the country, your Tour Leader will advise you on the best local restaurants offering the best of Egyptian fare at the local prices.
