My mom & I are looking at the Egypt trips that include the Felucca, but are concerned about how often we will be able to have access to a restroom. How many times do they stop for restroom breaks during the day and is they a restroom close by when they moor at night? Thanks!

Re: Felucca/toilets
I did a tour this may that included a felucca trip. There's no need to worry about how often you make bathroom stops, there are plenty scheduled and your tour leader and the felucca sailors are happy to stop anytime anyone needs to. As for restrooms, behind the nearest bush is what you get most of the time so you will have to be prepared for a lack of facilities. My roommate on the tour had never dealt with this before and she handled it just fine, you get used to it pretty quickly. Washing facilities are also either lacking or rudimentary but it's only three days and everyone is (so to speak) in the same boat.
I thought the felucca's were a wonderful way to travel and probably the best way to get a real feel for the Nile. We went swimming beside our drifting boats in the middle of the river and even had a meal of Nile perch one night which we bought from fishermen who paddled up to our boats (delicious!).
If the lack of facilities is too much to face though you may want to consider a Nile cruise instead.
Egypt is a wonderful country to visit and Imaginative traveller was an excellent company to see it with. Enjoy your trip,
Christine
