flights to Kathmandu seem to be really booked up for end of october time because of it being the high season. Has anyone ever heard of Biman Bangladesh airlines as they are the only airline to have places left? Are they reputable? Does anyone know of any other airlines that do cheap flights to nepal?

Biman Bangladesh don't have the best reputation going.
They have been known to delay travellers for ages on the Bangladesh stopover.

You might also look into Gulf Air or Qatar Airways.
