Local Payment?

Hi,

I have done a couple of ImTrav trips in the past, and there has always been a local payment. I am not seeing this amount on the tour descriptions on the website, but it is still mentioned in the 2009 brochure. Have these been discontinued? I don't want to show up for my trip and then find out I should be carrying a wad of cash!

Wow 8 weeks ago!!!! What are you doing Imtrav? Hi Candleberry shame on these guys for not getting back to you but from my copy of the new brochure looks like local payments have ceased.

Hello candleberry

Apologies for the delays that we have had with our forum replies. The forum site is now up and running once again and we will endeavour to answer your questions with a prompt reply as we have done so over the past years. Local payments are no longer applicable for the majority of our tours, this now only exists on a few of our Africa trips.

As you know the local payment was a percentage of the tour price, the prices that are now online or in the brochure shows the 'whole' price of the tour. I hope your still checking the forum and once again sorry for the delays!
