Could you tell me if I will need a Rabies vaccination on this trip. My doctor wasn't sure.

Thanks.

Rabies

Travelled in 2007 on Egypt & Jordan Caravan and saw no wild dogs or other vermin that would have rabies but apparently there are snakes that are poisonous. We did not require shots for rabies.

If you don't get any other responses look online on other websites to see if rabies is now an issue.

The Bedouins of the Wadi Rum are great - best herbal tea in the world that we had; the felucca cruise is "interesting"-- hope you don't have to go to the loo; and check out the Tombs of the Nobles; watch those donkeys as they are truly stubborn on the way to the Valley of the Kings!

You will have a great trip!

Hey 4beaty,

I am glad you are looking forward to your trip and thanks for your post.

I would recommend speaking to a travel health clinic before you make a decision as any pre-existing medical conditions do need to be taken into account. Try this website:

I hope that helps
