Just wondering how you attend to any developing risks in India at this time, following the Mumbai attacks. We are heading to Delhi with you for Northern Highlights in early 2009 and have read reports in the Telegraph that there is evidence of targets having been chosen in Delhi. Is the British Foreign Office your sole / prime source?

Delhi local developments
Hello
While we do use the Foreign Office as a very useful source of information regarding updates in the many countries where we run our tours, we also have permanent ground agents in each destination who help advise of any possible or confirmed escalation. To date this has worked fantastically, as they are able to give us near immediate information and are also able to provide possible alternate hotels to book, transportation to use, and are also trained in arranging alternate routes and itineraries when ever necessary so as not to put either yourself or our tour leaders in any danger.

Many thanks for keeping on top of this.
Might as well be 'realists' about what is happening, but no point in ceasing our explorations and travels.
