I am planning to take the Bangkok to Hanoi trip at the end of July. Am aware that this is the rainy season but not sure what this means in practical terms. Is it likley to rain all day every day or just short bursts? Presumably you wouldn't be running the trip if it were likely to be a complete washout? A little guidance would be useful...

Re: MONSOON

Sorry about the oversight in not answering your question earlier. We notice that you've now booked the trip. You should have received the predeparture information that will give you more info about the seasons and things to take.

Yes it is the rainy season when you are going, but it shouldn't rain all day everyday. Best thing is to be prepared. You may want to consider taking a small foldup umbrella, as it may be too humid in places to feel like wearing a rain jacket.

If you have any more questions please contact us again. Enjoy your trip!
