Hi there,
I just scrolled through all the posts on every forum, and I was wondering from which countries travellers come... Are most of them from England/U.K.? Or are there a lot of other nationalities as well on your tours? Thanks for the information ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Re: Nationalities on trips
Hello Dutch Dude,
I have done 2 tours with Im Trav, & found that the Nationalities varied quite a bit. On both tours there were people from the UK & Australia. I have toured with people from Sth Africa, Hawaii, Canada, New Zealand etc, etc. So you see there are a broad variation of Nationalities.
On both tours the UK was the minority.
I hope this helps. All the best........Debbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
Thank you so much for your reply... Yeah this helps a lot. I was a bit afraid there will be only U.K.-people on the tours (nothing wrong with them, but I like to travel with all kind of nationalities)... Well, you helped a lot, thanks again...!![[Smile]](smile.gif)
Re: Nationalities on trips
No worries Dutch! Hope you have a wonderful holiday, wish I could go too. Oh well someone has to do the work!!
If I can help with anything else just drop me a line. See ya........Debbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
Thank you so much
I think I will have a wonderful holiday. Maybe I'll go with the Bangkok-Singapore tour in December, ending in Singapore at the first day of the New Year...! Would love to do that! Whhich trips have you done so far?
Re: Nationalities on trips
Great to hear from you again Dutch!
Both my tours were to Egypt....just can't get enough of the place! Would like to see Jordan, Morocco, maybe Spain & Greece oneday. And of course go back to Egypt, there are still places I want to see & things to do but more than anything I want to see my Egyptian "family" & friends again, that is the main priority.
The cost of air travel limits what I can do as it's all a long way from Oz. But there's lots I want to see & do, just not enough money!!
Singapore for New Year sounds pretty exotic. I spent xmas & New Year in Egypt which was wonderful. You are travelling in good hands & no doubt everything will be taken care for your tour.
I guess you have travelled alot?
Enjoy yourself........Debbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
Well I think this is the longest thread I've seen on this forum so far! Nice to know that there is life out there!! Debbie - I'd be interested to hear your opinions on the Imaginative Traveller experience. I'm travelling with them for the first time this year - to India. Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hi Debbie and all the others,
Sounds amazing all the trips you have done. Yeah, travelled a bit already, but not as much as I really want to do. For me also the ticket to my destination limits my choice. I hope the tickets won't be that expensive as I think they will be. Have travelled with another organization like this one to the United States last year, from NYC to New Orleans and all the Southern stuff, and then to Los Angeles. Most amazing experience! Have met so many nice and kind people, and I'm still in touch with some Irish girls I met. Have been there in November and will go there again in summer... Thank you so much for all your replies...!
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hello Mercedes & Dutch!!,
I haven't been to any of the places you mentioned Dutch....maybe oneday!! Would like to see the green grass of Ireland.
Mercedes, I haven't been to India, but if you are travelling with Im trav I believe you will be in safe hands & that your tour will be well organised with very well trained tour leaders. I feel that the tours are value for money & that you get to see things that you wouldn't see with other companies or if you travelled on your own. I like to see the real people of a country not just the sterile view if you get what I mean.
When I was in Egypt over Xmas & New Year I was sick during the tour. My tour leader made all the arrangements for a doctor to see me at our Hotel, which was great as I would never know how to do this. Your tour leaders also know the best places for internet, special sites etc. I can not give enough praise for this company.
I am hoping to travel to Egypt again & am already trying to work out exactly what I want to do, even though it will be more than 12 months away. You can never be to organised!!
And besides it's kinda nice to dream.
All the best, I hope you both have wonderful hols. I am green with envy.....only joking!!
.....Debbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
LOL... don't be green with envy... just went to my travel agency yesterday and unfortunately I can't make the tour I wanted to do... tickets around Xmas and NewYear are way too expensive right now for me
... well, have to do something else then... so sad at the moment... does anyone know another trip I can do around Xmas and New Year (I prefer a sunny destination
)...
Re: Nationalities on trips
News update... will make it anyways to Bangkok I guess... went to another travel agency... much cheaper now...
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hi Dutch!!
That's good news!! I hope you have great holiday & soak up some sun. I haven't been to Bangkok, not certain if it is on the "avoid" list recently put out by the aussie government.
Sorry for my silence, for some reason this thread wouldn't load for me & I was unable to read your last 2 posts.
Stay safe, but have a wonderful time....DEbbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hi Debbie and all the others, thank you so much for all your information. Well, I have made reservations.... at least! So Bangkok, here I come! What are you going to do Debbie this year?
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hello Dutch,
Sorry for the delay in this response, I'm still having trouble with the pages loading.
I'm glad you've got your booking worked out & you are now set for your holidays. Where are you going & is it still over xmas & new year?
I will be home working
, oh well someone has to do the work!!! I have some study to finish before I can go anywhere & then have to save some money. Which is pretty difficult with the drought, again that's just life.
Have a great hol Dutch, look forward to hearing all about it........Debbie.
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hi there,
Just found your reply...! It's becoming a very large topic now, thanks to you
Well, about my holidays, on the 12th of December I'll fly to Helsinki, and then I'll fly to Bangkok. Will spend there three days on my own, start the tour Bangkok-Singapore, and will celebrate Xmas somewhere in the middle of Malaysia en celebrate New Year's Eve in Singapore. There I'll stay another three days, and then I will fly back home... I hope I will have a wonderful time again, just like last year in America... Althought... it will never be better than that time... I hope you've got the money to start a big trip again... What do you study btw? Well, let me know all the news, and I will let you know all my stories when I will have finished the trip!
Re: Nationalities on trips
Hello Dutch,
Sorry for the delay, have only just been able to read your post.
I am a nurse & am studying as a Lab Assistant.
Look foward to hearing all about your trip. I won't be going anywhere for awhile. Pleased to hear that you are happy with your arrangements & planning your Xmas away from home. It really does make it special.
All the best......Debbie.
