Pakistan Landing Permit

Has anyone had personal experience of the new 30 day landing permit? Getting conflicting advice from consulates in London/Glasgow and several other sources (and no help from Imaginative Traveller when I e-mailed them)

Several of our clients have obtained the 30 day permit on arrival though I haven't myself. I would like to hear from anybody who has regarding it's convenience, price etc.
