Hello, along with 5 of my friends, I am travelling to Egypt in February. three of us ride motorcycles and want to pick up motorcycle leathers while over there. We have some time to spare in Cairo and want to know of places that make good motorcycle leathers. Also have one of us that wants to pick up a leather coat so any recomendations on good leather tailors would be helpful. Thanks. BD.

Dear Brenda, you should be able have leathers made to fit. If you ask your tour leader he/she may be able to help. It seems possible to buy almost anything you want in Egypt. You may find something in the bazaars. Hope you have a great trip.

It should be possible to get leathers made to fit in Cairo, however it may take some hunting to find a shop that can do what you want. You'll also need to check very carefully that the leather they propose to use will be tough enough for motorcycle use.
Your tour leader may be able to assist you, but it is unlikely that they will have had this kind of request before and you may find that you get it done quicker yourself as you know exactly what you are looking for.
