I am doing the Camel Trek in Feb/ March 2009. Please advise on approxamitely how much money will be required per day once trekking in the desert.

Sahara Camel Trek

NicoJ-

I would assume not much money will be needed for the trekking phase since breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided as part of the overall cost of the trip.

Some money would be required for any tips to the camel team members, soft drinks and shower at the auberge (day 7) and souvenirs from any locals we meet along the way!
