I am confused about this trip as:
Overview states:*Price Includes: Tour price of CAD2790 and local payment of IRP18000.
Local Payment states: There is a local payment on this tour of INR 18,000. This must be paid to the Tour Leader in Indian Rupees cash on Day 1 of the tour.
Availability states: Local Payment: Included as part of the tour price
See why I'm confused. Is anyone else confused? Needless to say I've booked this trip for Nov 2009 and hope that the local payment is indeed included in the price.
We still need the tipping kitty $$ and meal $$ and trying to budget for this trip of a lifetime. Many thanks.

Hi Mab225,
Thanks for your comments and I can understand the local payment can be a little bit confusing. Essentially we must advertise the total price, which is the Tour price plus the Local Payment, which in this case = £1525/CAD3209
We then need to break it down into payment to booking agent = CAD2790 and local payment = IRP 18000, which must be paid on first day of tour. The availability as part of the total tour price is correct, but the Overview price is the total price, and the one customers should plan their budgets by.
So essentially you pay the CAD2790 at time of booking and IRP 18000 on arrival = total price of CAD3209.
We are always looking at ways to improve the website layout and make it more user friendly, so we always welcome your comments.
I hope this helps, if you would like to know more about the local payment take a look at this FAQ - http://www.imaginative-traveller.com/faq and scroll down to local payments.
Please let me know if you have any further queries.
