Greetings!
My girlfriend and I are considering signing up for your 22-day South India Adventure tour (sia.htm), but are a bit concerned about the overnight accommodations. Could you send more details please about the expected accommodations for this trip (e.g., how many hostels and guest houses vs. hotels, what is a guest house?, and will we always have a private room, etc.). We hope to join the tour starting Dec 24th 2000.

Re: South India Accommodations
Hi Dan
The South India Adventure is a great way of seeing this fascinating part of India.
We use the expression 'hotels and guest houses', because there is a wide range in styles of accommodation. Some times we stay right on the beach, or near major sites, at other times it is the charm of the accommodation itself, be it cottages or former palaces, which attracts us. In all cases the rooms are twin share with en suite bathrooms so your girlfriend and you would have a private room.
I hope this answers your question, and that you have a wonderful time in the south of India.
Yours
