Hey,
I am interested in doing the SIA trip at the end of March '08.
I'd be grateful if anyone can advise how comfortable I might feel (not having done lone travel before) getting to the meeting point (from London)The tour sounds ace, but I am a little anxious about the getting there on my jacks, part!
I would like to tag on a few days in Goa at the end, what would the best flight arrangements be for a start in Kerela and finish in Goa?
Also can anyone give me a ball park figure of overall total cost- flights, internal domestic transport costs, basic daily cost allowance in addition to the tour fee of 585? I have read the trip dossier so have a rough idea based on the figures for site entrance etc, but personal experiences of such costs is so helpful.
I know these are such base questions but your thoughts would be greatly appreciated as this will help me make up my mind to book!
Thank you,
S

Re: South India Adventure-advice pls?
Hello Sweetz,
Many thanks for your post.
I did my first trip with the Imaginative Traveller last November and was travelling alone. I found that travelling from London to Hanoi (I did the Vietnam Hilights tour) was fine but I would definately reccommend booking an arrival transfer that way you know that someone will take you to the meeting point hotel where you can meet the group.
The South Indian Adventure (HASA)would be the best tour to get you from Kerala to Goa.
I hope that this helps.
