am going on the kingdoms of the nile tour starting august 6. Have been told tomb of queen nefertari is must but only 150 tix available per day. Do tour leaders try to obtain these tix for those who are interested or are travellers left to own devices for this one? How mucha re the tix for this tomb?

I did the Beyond the Pyramids tour this past May and loved it. I went to see Nefertari's tomb after almost skipped it because the tickets were a little pricey @ 100 Egyptian Pounds. I now consider that some of the best money I ever spent. It's outstanding. Definately not something you want to miss.
We were able to buy tickets just down the road from our Hotel (the Pharoah's hotel, I don't know if your tour uses the same one.) And our tour leader advised us to get up bright and early to be there when the ticket office opened (it was 6 or 6:30 am). This was no problem as we were heading up to Valley of the Kings early anyway to beat the heat.
Everyone who wanted one got a ticket. I'm sure your tour leader will let you know where and when to pick up your tickets so that no one misses out.
Egypt is a wonderful place, and ImTrav is a great company to see it with, enjoy your trip!
