My husband and I are going on the Nile Safari on 3 Dec and then taking the Jordan Connection on 11 Dec. From what I've read Egypt is quite warm but Jordan gets cold in Winter (even snows??). How warm clothes do we need to take with us for the combined trip. Are there bag size restrictions?

Re: Travel to Egypt & Jordan

Hi,

According to our Temp Chart:

AMMAN: Dec high of 15 Low of 8
Petra gets VERY cold at night and does get snow in Winter. You will need a very warm coat/jacket for your day trekking through Petra and for the chilly nights. Don't forget some comfortable walking shoes.

CAIRO: Dec high of 20 Low 18
LUXOR: Dec High of 24 low of 16
Again some warm clothes for the evenings on the Nile as it's cooler than on the shore.
Daytime temps will be warm.

I'm not sure why you mean by "bag size restrictions" if it's for the airline you should check with them direct.
