Apart from a China Visa, do we need to apply for any travel permits based on the itinerary of The Silk Road tour?
Also, it states under the Visas section of the Trip Dossier for the Overland to Lhasa tour that no China visa is required as a group visa and permit will be arranged at the start of the tour. I would just like to confirm that this is applicable for tour members of all nationalities - specifically Malaysian.
Thanks.

YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT PERMITS FOR TRAVEL WITHIN CHINA ON THIS TRIP. TRAVELLING AS A GROUP WE HAVE MADE ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PERMITS TO COMPETE THE TOUR.
YOU WILL NEED A VISA FOR PAKISTAN, AS THE TRIP ENDS IN ISALAMABAD.

IT'S THE SAME FOR ALL NATIONALITIES.
IF THE RULES CHANGE (WHICH IS OFTEN THE CASE FOR TRAVEL IN TIBET) YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A CHINA VISA IN KATHMANDU ANYWAY.
GOOD LUCK
