Does/can the food included in the Egyptian tours feature vegetarian options? Is vegetarian food commonly available outside the tours as well?
Thanks,
SamW

Re: Vegetarian food in Egypt?
Hello Samuel,
I think you will find it quite easy to purchase vegetarian meals outside your tour. I enjoyed lupin soup, aubergine salads, eggplant salads, pasta etc whilst in Egypt. Whilst on tour with the Imag. Trav. we dined on carrot soup (best I've ever tasted), pastas etc. Perhaps you could request vegetarian meals, whilst on tour?
Enjoy your holiday & I hope you find the food as enjoyable as I did.

Re: Vegetarian food in Egypt?
Hello Samuel,
While Egyptians mainly eat vegetarian food the choice is rather unattractive. We have a policy of catering to vegetarians as best we can and if you inform your agent and your Tour Leader of your requirements he/she will do there best to facilitate you.
Outside the hotels the choices will be varied with soups being delicious and pasta dishes galore.
Cheers
Marty
