Are the people that go on the trips from worldwide and if they are in one country are we able to meet up through Imtrav? Or would that be something that would be up to the individual to decide?

which country are you in? Im pretty sure we are from all aver the place - Im an Aussie and Teri and Maki (also booked on this trip and also on the forum) are Canadian. I'm not sure if there are any others booked at this time...
but even just saying hi on the web is a nice way to start! I guess anything further is up to the individuals. I'm traveling on my own so am keen to find out about the others on this tour before we get to bangkok...

Hi Cat!
Just wanted to introduce ourselves ... my daughter, Maki and I are booked on the VSEA departing Sept. 13th. We're from Toronto, Canada and this will be Maki's first taste of "real" travel. I'm so fortunate I get to experience this adventure with her as she will be off into the world by herself very soon (and then mama gets to travel way more!!).
We look forward to meeting you! If we don't touch basis before the trip I hope you have an enjoyable flight ... and we'll see you in Bangkok!

I'm off on a rtw trip too... staying on in thailand on one of the islands for about 5 days then cambodia and angkor wat then finland for a week then to ol london town to do the work visa thang... india next year too...
it a bit scary leaving everything behind but theres a whole world out there to discover and ive done uk b4 and know a few peeps there.
its getting so close now! it is great to get to chat to others on the same trip isnt it? so at least we know who's who b4 we arrive!

I love the idea of "keeping in touch" before we all meet. I will include my email address so please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish. I will certainly pass on your messages to Maki. Yes. We are really looking forward to this trip, but for very different reasons. For me, it's more about reviving the passion I have always had for travel (and now that my kids are older … if you wanna come with, great. If not, see ya!!). And Maki is such a crazy adventurer, this will be a great start to what I know will be the beginning many journeys I know she’ll take.
You girls inspire me! I love the excitement that comes through in your words and I so look forward to being a part of this trip with you!
