Did you get together with your group Eric!? Those hotels in HCMC are odd, three right next door, basically the same hotel and all inter-connected but yet they have three different reception desks!

Sorry for the late response. We did find them, but this is the first time we have used the internet after joining the group.

We are in Sam Neua, Laos. We do have another question; as previously arranged, we will be leaving the group at the Thai-Laos border and travilling back into the hills and then back to the elephant nature park beginning on July 30. Imaginative Traveller is supposed to get my daughter and I overnight train tickets from Chaing Mai to Bangkok on August 9th to arrive early a.m. for a noon flight home.

How and where do I get those? Our guide on the first trip was aware of it and told me to get with our next guide on this trip. The problem is that we are getting multiple guides that are subcontracted and do non work for you. If possible, I can pick up the tickets at the main office for the Elephant Nature Park on August 2nd. Or will the new guide have them when we cross into Thailand. We will be with the group for the crossing. Help !

When you arrive into Thailand I can confirm that you tour leader will have your train tickets for Chiang Mai to Bangkok.
