I am going on the felluca Journey in july and I have no idea what I should take with me. It says there is nights camping. Do I need a sleeping bag? Any other hints on what to bring would be greatly apreciated.

The Felucca Journey trip dossier suggests a sleeping bag for the Felucca section of the trip.
I have posted to others on the forums that in July the weather is hot and the evenings are warm and pleasant. I would suggest a sleeping sheet of cotton. This will mean you have no sleeping bag to carry round during the whole trip. If the weather changes (unlikely in July)you can buy a cheap blanket in Aswan.
As for what to bring, besides your personal belongings it may seem a little nuts to say this but...... bring your camera (you would be amazed how many people don't!)
Lots of light cottons will get you by, shorts and tee shirts. And of course a backpack for carrying your water and camera etc.
Bring a good book or two for the felucca as you will soon settle into the calm and peaceful sailing routine and sleep and read a lot.
Maybe others can also post to suggest what they brought on their trips to help you out.
