I have done 2 Im Trav trips now (Jewels of Egypt and Quetzal Quest); one with a friend and one on my own. I'm not normally the sort of person to travel alone but I trusted Im Trav from my first trip and so decided to chance it. I had a brilliant time and felt totally safe. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a tour to you.

I would say, however, that some group makeups might lend themselves to solo travelling more. i.e. if everyone else was in a couple it might be a bit more difficult. If you enquire about a tour you can usually find out some brief details about who else is travelling to help you make up your mind.

Flights aren't included in the prices but Im Trav will arrange them for you if you like. I did this for one tour and arranged my own flights for another. There are benefits to each as you may be able to find something cheaper yourself but you get a bit more peace of mind if you book as a package as, if the tour was cancelled or changed, Im Trav would sort that out for you.

You usually get advice on visa but have to sort them out for yourself.

Imtrav tours are great for people who are travelling alone as they give you a chance to meet new people, visit amazing countries and give you the security of travelling with a knowldegable traveller (your tour leader) and the safety of being part of a group.

Our tours are priced as land only tours however we can arrange your flights if you need them.

Our dossiers can offer visa advice but we are not able to arrange them, you can do that by contacting a visa specialist company or arranging them yourself via the relevant embassy.
