Women in Iran?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could tell me if when I arrive in Tehran in the middle of the night if I will have any problems as a single woman getting a cab or getting to my hotel? I've heard that it is advised to have a man escort you and I was wondering if this is true. Thanks!

Iran is not dangerous for women. You would be fine to get a cab by yourself.
If you are joining one of our trips all travellers are met at the airport and transferred to the hotel so, again, nothing to worry about.
