im going on the kenya safari and build aug 06, just wondering if anyones been b4 and what they thought and also if it is essential 2 take a hard hat and steel top cap footwear??? would apperciate any information anyone can give thanks sian xxxx

Thanks for your post.
The charity that this tour is run in conjunction with, Habitat For Humanity, request that people on this programme take steel cap footwear and hard hats for safety reasons. You could be handling bricks and tiles etc and so obviously it is always best to take as much protection as possible. It is not clear as to whether it will be possible to borrow these, however I would not rely on a half chance and take your own.
