We have been looking through the itinery and would like a little more information about what sites are visited.
For example the itinery says "Drive via the superb Moghul remains of Fatehpur Sikri to Agra" - (Day 19) - does this mean the site is visited while on the tour or do we just drive past it!
There are a few other sites that are mentioned in the itinerary, but it is not clear if they are visited as part of the tour or optional.
These are - Day 4 -Fort at Bundi, Day 6 - Chittaurgarh, Day 10 - Kumbhalgarh fort.
We are also interested if other optional tours are offered throughout the tour on leisure days.

Went on Among the Maharajas tour in February and we visited all the sights you mention. There are very few "free days" as such there was always an interesting sight to be visited. In fact the women were wondering if there would be time for shopping.
I can highly recommend this particular tour and if you get Sam as your tour leader count yourself exceptionally lucky indeed. He made the tour and looked after us like we were his children. He smoothed everything so that we had no worries whatsoever.
