Hello!
My husband and I are considering taking this trip in Feb/Mar, 2004. Would love any comments or suggestions anyone may have -- highlights or disappointments, comments on the Heritage hotels, great discoveries, favorite experiences, etc. If you've taken or plan to take this trip, I hope to hear from you!

I'm booked to go on the "Amongst The Maharajas" trip at the beginning of February,2004 and i just can't wait!!!
This will be my first trip to India,i am really excited and looking forward to it. But on the other hand i am also a little nervous,i will be going on the tour alone! I couldn't convince any of my friends to join me on the tour!
I'm really looking forward to exploring Delhi and maybe do some shopping for a few bargins!!
The question is though:do i take a pack or a suit case with me???
I hope to talk to anybody else who is booked on this trip or who has already been!!! [Smile]

Thanks for your post.

We generally recommend that you take a rucksack with you, as these are usually more hardwearing, and easier to carry and store than rigid suitcases.

Having said that, plenty of people do take suitcases with them. At the end of the day, it's really up to you, and what you feel most comfortable with.
