Hi I'm going on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek on 18 Apr 02. Anyone else out there going on this trek? Or has anyone already done it? I'm travelling overland from Delhi to Kathmandu to join the trek from the 2 April. Is anyone doing anything similar.

I did the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek last September (with a friend & a guide and a porter) and it was wonderful!! The 2nd day - Hille to Ghorepani was TOUGH... The views are spectacular and we had a great time. Go for a walk further up to the Glacier when you get to ABC. The walk from Deurali to Machhapuchare Base Camp (MBC) is magical & very spiritual. Go (if you can) to the Tibetan Settlement outside Pokhara (Tashipalkhel). There is a Kargyu Monastory where the monks will gladly show you around. In Kathmandu, if you can find Pumperknickel Bakery (near Kathmandu Guest House), the scones are to die for. Lot's of trekkers go there to eat. ENJOY...
