I was just wondering who my travel companions might be for this trip. I'm 32, live in the U.S., and although I have traveled internationally before, this will be my first trip to China. I will be arriving in Beijing late Sunday night. Anyone else flying in late?

Hi Rachael, I am also going to do the China Explored trip starting on the 07/10. I'm 27 and live in Spain, this will also be my first trip to China. I will be arriving in Beijing on the 06/10 at 08:00 a.m.!!!!!

Sorry if I am being presumptous that you are a native Spanish speaker since you said you live in Spain. I just got back from my second Spanish class and I'm eager to practice on someone.
Earlier this summer, I was told that there were only 4 people signed up for this trip. I wonder if we will hear from anyone else.
Since you are arriving early in the morning, are you going to do any sights on Sunday?

I have been living in Spain for 8 years but I am English. I would be quite happy to teach you some Spanish in October!!!!
I am actually doing a round the world trip and one of the places I will be going to is California, maybe you could give me some tips? Yes I would like to do some sight seeing on Sunday. Hopefully we will hear from other travel companions!!!

I'm going on this too on those dates- my first trip to China too. I'm going to be arriving a few days in advance- I'm getting to Beijing on the trans-siberian and thought I might want a rest when I arrive!

I'm flying straight from London (forgot to say that I'm English!) to Moscow rather going to St. Petersburg first, though it's a place I'd love to visit one day. It's only a couple of weeks now in fact before I go- there seems to be so much to sort out!
I'm planning staying in Hong Kong afterwards for a little while afterwards- I have to get a new Chinese visa there if nothing else as my flight back is from Shanghai! My boyfriend might also be joining me out there for a week too if he can get the time off work.
