I was thinking of going on the China insight tour in October. What is the weather like at that time? Also I'm a bit new too independant travelling on this tour will I need to bring a backpack? And what is the usually profile of the type of people I will be going with? Sorry for all the questions I'm new to this!
Thanks
J.

Re: China

Hi there,

As you'd expect China has a great diversity of climate due to its size. Generally in October you can expect temperatures of between 10-20C and low rainfall (although you're likely to see some rain).

You won't need a backpack for this tour but you should be aware that China is unkind to bags and it would be worth your while investing in some tough luggage.

The average age of our clients is around 21-35. Around a third book alone with the rest made up of couples and small groups of friends. Our clients are mainly UK and Aussies with a good mixture of Americans, Canadians, NZ and other nationalities.

I hope that helps, please let me know if there's anything else.

Has anyone else been on the China Insight tour? Can they give me some ideas as to how it was?
