I-India is doing a fantastic job in supporting and developing the skills of vulnerable and deprived children in Jaipur. I'm currently volunteering as an English and Maths teacher at Ladli boys' centre where about 50 boys come on a daily basis for vocational work; jewellery and accessory making,academic lessons and dance and music classes. The boys are always fully engaged in their jewellery making and they seem happy and well-looked after. Teaching them is a real pleasure as they're keen to learn and I'm constantly amazed by how quickly they pick things up, and the boys'enormous potential is obvious. My boyfriend and I want to let people know about the great work that I-India is doing and encourage support; donations, volunteering, any help that can be offered. Hello Volunteer.
It is always great to hear about worthwhile causes and how individuals can help to make a difference. It sounds like you are doing a fabulous job and one that is of great benefit to the children and I am sure very rewarding for you too.
Imaginative Traveller are currently working with Chandelao Village in India. We are helping to improve local facilities there through our volunteer tour and responsible travel donations. We are always keen to hear about other projects and I'll certainly try and visit Ladli Boys' Centre when I am next in the area.

Thank you for this post - I have been looking at various options to volunteer in India next year as I want to do one of the Imaginative Travellers Northern India trips then stay on and spend a couple of months volunteering by teaching or working with children.

hey aly thanks for starting this post.... we already mailed imaginative travels to add our ladli project, i think they definitely gonna do something positive for our project.
frotunately this week we had some travellers from the same company who visisted the project & assured us to spread words about ladli to the authorities
