Currency in Nepal

I am going on CEBC trip in february next year, just wondering what is the best currency to have in Nepal rupees or dollars?

Also what is the temperature likely to be?

Hey Lawrence

Dollars or any major currency such as pounds or Euros can easily be changed in Nepal. Last time I was there there were banks at the airport you could change cash before leaving the airport.

I usually change a little at the airport (on arrival) in case of emergency and such then wait for my tour leader to advise on the best place to change in case the exchange rate is different.
