Hi there Angel Spirit. I wonder if you could tell us about your trip. I am thinking seriously about signing up for this tour, but those hard sleeper train hours are causing me concern:)! Any other thoughts on the entire experience? thanks

Re: Great China Adventure
Hard sleepers are just a relative term. They are actually as comfortable as the soft sleepers - they just have less privacy as the cabins are open to the corridor. However, as you travel with your group and so block book a number of beds privacy isn't much of an issue. However, I would recommend taking a sleeping bag liner as the bedding can be a bit itchy!
