Re: Is India safe?
Hi Kate,
We feel if we stay home, they've won.
We went to Egypt after some bombings, Nepal during the Maoist insurgency, and were in India during the tsunami.
Our attitude has always been there can be a bombing at home or we would be hit by a bus. The chances of being in the wrong place at the wrong time are pretty low but it's always up to you.

I've just come back from the "Images of India" tour and found the country to be very safe. However, you should take the same precautions that you would travelling around any major city in the world.
