Hi everyone
Hope you are all well.
I would like some help because I can't quite decide between the Indian Highlights and the Indian Images tours and I would really appreciate some advice.
I have read loads of positive posts from those who have been on the Highlights tour, but nothing for the other.
For a complete and utter novice and first-timer to India, which one would people recommend?
Many thanks in advance
All the best

Re: Indian Highlights vs. Indian Images - can't decide!!
Hey Raj,
Thanks for your post.
India is an absolutely fascinating destination and I'm sure you'll get the most out of your trip, whichever one you do decide on. As a general guideline, the main difference between our "North India Highlights" (HTNI) and "Indian Images" (HAID) is that the first is a "Traveller" style trip and the second is classed as an "Adventurer" style. The key difference between the two regarding the level of comfort and number of inclusions, with 'Traveller' generally exceeding those of the 'Adventurer' tours on both accounts. Also the possibility of single supplements, not available on 'Adventurer' tours, but usually are so on 'Traveller'.
Such difference are highlighted in examples such as there being 3 nights at heritage hotels & 1 night in luxurious "mud huts" on the HTNI, whilst just the 1 night in a heritage hotel on the HAID.
As for the actual itineraries, they're both identical in duration and equally as good, following much the same, although there are some differences. The HTNI visits Ranthambore NP, where there might be a chance to spot tigers (please note; not on departures between June & September), whilst on the HAID you will visit Khajuraho, which is renowned for its erotic sculptures.
It's a tough decision, and hopefully someone else who's been on the HAID might be able to offer some further advice. Should you need anything further, please don't hesitate to contact us. Also take a good look at both trip dossiers, which will hopefully provide you with further assistance when deciding.
Happy choosing!
Kind Regards,
Robert
Re: Indian Highlights vs. Indian Images - can't decide!!
Hello Robert
Thank you so much for your helpful and insightful reply.
I had been prevaricating between the two tours for some time, but, after due consideration, speaking to other people who have done the tours and reading your post, I am swaying towards the Indian Highlights tour.
I think that they are both excellent tours, but, with it being my first trip to India, I would like to enjoy a tad extra comfort and experience more of the heritage hotels.
I am very excited about the prospect of venturing into India (have just ordered my travel guides) and am hoping to book the trip this week.
Thanks a lot for your advice! It's much appreciated!
Cheers
