Hi,
I am booked for the Journey across China starting on September 19th.
Some Questions:
1. Are there already enough participants so this tour will take place?
2. The tour falls into the time frame as the Chinese National Day with China having one week off. From your experience - what will be the impact on the tour (in terms of hotel/ train/ flight/ bank availability, longer queues/ more people at sights, etc.)? What week will be specifically free (before or after October 1st, taking into account that it is a Saturday this year)?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Journey across China around October 1st
Hello,
I have had an update.
The tour is currently going ahead as planed.
Many people take a holiday for the first week of October and sites do get busy. The tour will be down south by then, so it will be less affected.
We book a long time in advance to minimize disruption to the tour. In the past there have been minor changes but this is unlikely.
Banks close for one or two days and operate a minimal service for the rest of the week. Money changing is still possible at licensed hotels.
I hope this helps.
