Kathmandu to Mumbai - Feb 2003

I have paid a deposit for the Road to Kathmandu tour, leaving Kathmandu in Feb 2003 and travelling to Mumbai.

I would love to hear from anyone who has done this tour before or has booked it for Feb next year.

I did this tour in March 2002, except in the other direction: Mumbai to Kathmandu.

It was great! Loved Jasailmer the most. Stayed in nice hotels, most of them had A/C, the others fan-cooled (it was VERY hot at the time). Great group (10 of us) - we all bonded immensely. Ate dinner together every night at a place the group leader picked out. Stay away from the street food - some people in my group got very sick!

Nepal was such a relief after crowded and noisy India. I guess you'll have the opposite experience.
