I am booked to go to Classic Everest Base Camp in October - just wondering if anyone else out there is going too?? Also, I am getting to Kathmandu 2 days before the trek starts - does anyone have any suggestions as to where to stay that is relatively cheap and central?

Hi Julia,Friends of mine who have been say that the Kathmandu Guest House is cheap and comfortable. I am arriving in Kathmandu on 10th October and hope to do the mountain flight before heading off to Base Camp. Our tour officially starts on 12th October.
