Hello--my husband and I are planning to take one of the India trips--either North India Highlights or North India in Style--in November. Have you been on either of these and can you give me an idea of which you would recommend? I realize the difference will be mostly in the lodging..I'm just wondering if the difference is enough to warrant paying the extra (almost double) cost?
Thanks for your input!
Tanya

Re: north india highlights vs. north india in style
Hello,
The notable difference is the accommodation as the 'North India in Style' tour features many sumptuous Heritage hotels. Weather or not it justifies the expense really depends on your own ideas about the tour experience.
Re: north india highlights vs. north india in style
Hi, my husband and I (sounds like the queen) have booked on the Indian highlights trip in November, departing October 29th. We chose this trip because of the variety in the accommodation offered, from heritage hotel to mud hut albeit with air conditioning! I guess we wanted to feel that we would be comfortable in the travel arrangements but not remote from the "real" India if we went more upmarket. It will be our first visit to India, but this has been our philosophy elsewhere and we haven't been disappointed. Maybe see you on the trip?

Hi, my husband and I did the North India Highlights tour last October..I absolutely loved it. Some of the hotels were amazing, some were simple, but always clean..None were luxurious though if that is what you are looking for..My favorite were the one's in Mandawa..![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
The itinerary is great and India is an amazing country..So this year coming up shortly we are taking the Kerala in Style tour..
I highly recommend North India Highlights..I would even do it again..
