Hi There
Glad to here you enjoy Nepal. I'm off on the images of Nepal trip in a couple of months. And was wondering how you found the current climate in Nepal?
Cheers
Alex

Hi Alex,
I assume you mean the political climate? If so, the media REALLY OVER RATES the danger to people from the Maoist insurrection. They advise the general population of any blockades they put in place weeks in advance so they just stock on food, fuel etc. As far as travelling in a group is concerned, you should have no problems at all. The Maoists have repeatedly stated that they have no quarrel with tourists so there should be no problems.
Hope this helps,
Russell

Sorry Yes I did mean the political climate.
I'm not really to concern, because like you sad the Maoists have stated that tourists are not the target. However my friends and family have been reading what the media are saying are get concern about me going - so I thought I would try I get some first hand information from someone who has been to Nepal recently.
Thank you very much the reply.
